Set in 1997, the city of St. Petersburg, Florida, is beset by uprisings after a young black motorist is shot by a white police officer. Director Chris Fuller, who wrote the script when he was 15 years old, portrays the amazing intricacies of a city in the aftermath.

Life Is Too Short Series

In its 7th edition this year, the Miami Beach Cinematheque and the Italian Film Festival are proud to present "Life is Too Short," a series of short films promoting young Italian Directors and Actors. The selection will include "L'Amore e` un Gioco" with Neri Marcore, "L'artista," directed by Simone Mariani and "Maradona Baby," winner of the Spike Lee Short Film Selection, among others.

A chronicle of the minutes of one woman’s life, “Cléo From 5 to 7” is a spirited mix of vivid vérité and melodrama, featuring cameos by Jean-Luc Godard and Anna Karina. In French with English subtitles.
